Several highlights over the years include concerts with internationally recognized guest artists, including: Bob Mintzer (tenor saxophone), Steve Wilson (alto saxophone), Brad Leali (alto saxophone), James Zollar (trumpet) and multi-instrumentalist Scott Robinson performing Bob Brookmeyer's "Celebration Suite".

The repertoire includes the finest arrangements available from Thad Jones, Duke Ellington and Count Basie and contemporary arrangers such as Bob Brookmeyer, Bill Holman, Jim McNeeley, Tom Pierson and Rich DeRosa, in addition to compositions/arrangements from band members Matthias Spillmann and Carlo Schöb.

David Regan graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in New York where he studied saxophone with Joe Allard. As a featured member of the college jazz band he performed with guest soloists Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Woody Shaw and Phil Woods in concerts at 7th Avenue South and the Village Vanguard. He continued his studies on saxophone, flute and clarinet with George Coleman and Danny Bank.

David is a gifted musician and composer and has led his own groups in American and European jazz clubs. His saxophone playing has been featured in television and radio commercials for Migros, Swatch and Kuoni Travel. He has also performed with The Fusionaires, The Four Tops, The Temptations and Natalie Cole.

Currently, he is busy with his own jazz quartet, his private students and as the leader of two Big Bands: The David Regan Orchestra and the RP Big Band. Additionally, he is the director of the big band program at the Zürich Hochschule der Künste.
